An Academic Manager/Educational Instructor is responsible for providing personalized academic support and guidance to students of all ages and backgrounds. This role works closely with students to assess their academic strengths and weaknesses, develop customized learning plans, teach subject matter concepts and skills, and help students achieve their educational goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of students' academic strengths, weaknesses, and learning styles
- Develop customized learning plans to address individual needs and goals
- Provide one-on-one tutoring sessions with students to support the development of subject matter skills
- Teach subject matter concepts and skills, including critical thinking, problem-solving, study skills, and test-taking strategies
- Collaborate with teachers and internal educational therapists to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to students' academic needs
- Monitor students' progress and adjust learning plans as needed
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of students' assessments, learning plans, and progress
- Provide feedback to teachers, professors, and academic advisors on students' progress and areas of improvement
- Attend professional development opportunities to stay abreast of the latest research and best practices in education
- Promote awareness of tutoring services and the benefits of personalized academic support to potential students and stakeholders
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in education, psychology, or a related subject matter
- Proven experience as a tutor or teacher at the K-12 or postsecondary level
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Compassion, patience, and a positive attitude
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
- Seeking educators with specialties in MATH & SCIENCE
Working Conditions
Education Instructors / Academic Managers typically work remotely, with some traveling to students' locations as needed.
This is a flexible, part-time position. Tutoring sessions may occur during regular business hours or outside traditional work hours, depending on students' schedules. This is a part-time contract position, depending on the needs of the tutor and the students.
Pay Structure
The average range is between $30-$45 per hour, depending on experience, education and location.
This is a contract opportunity. An independent contractor is a person, business, or corporation that provides goods or services under a written contract or a verbal agreement. Unlike employees, independent contractors do not regularly work for an employer but work as required, and they may be subject to the law of agency and the State of California.

An Executive Function Coach is responsible for supporting and guiding individuals who struggle with executive function skills, essential for goal-directed behavior, organization, time management, self-regulation, and decision-making. The coach works closely with clients to develop strategies and techniques to help them improve their executive function skills and achieve their personal and professional goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' executive function skills, strengths, and challenges
- Develop customized coaching plans to address individual needs and goals
- Provide one-on-one coaching sessions with clients to support the development of executive function skills
- Teach clients strategies and techniques to improve organization, time management, planning, decision-making, and self-regulation
- Collaborate with other professionals, such as internal educational therapists and tutors, to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to clients' needs
- Monitor clients' progress and adjust coaching plans as needed
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of clients' assessments, coaching plans, and progress
- Attend professional development opportunities to stay abreast of the latest research and best practices in executive function coaching
- Promote awareness of executive function skills and the benefits of coaching services to potential clients and stakeholders
Requirements

- Two years experience working with individuals who have executive function challenges
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
